VECTRA 2.2.9 — Contextual Help + Glide
VECTRA 2.2.9 introduces a new Contextual Help system, repairs and completes Glide, and brings Glide into the NOTE DNA workflow.
New — Contextual Help
VECTRA now includes an integrated Help Mode designed to make its deeper systems easier to understand without leaving the instrument.
Activate Help Mode from the top toolbar to reveal contextual help points throughout VECTRA. These open detailed in-app guides explaining the purpose, structure and workflow of each area, with direct links to the relevant VECTRA manuals where available.
Initial coverage includes major areas such as:
- SYNTH and oscillator controls
- VECTRA FORGE
- Prism Core
- Envelopes
- LFO system
- Filter Core
- Sample engine
- Living Matrix
- Macro Bay
- ARP CORE
- Maelstrom FX
- GLOBAL
This is the first layer of a system that will continue to expand into VECTRA’s deeper individual modules and workflows.

Improved — Glide
Glide has received a substantial runtime repair.
Pitch transitions now behave consistently across normal playing, repeated notes, chords and ARP-generated notes, with Glide history correctly tracked between played notes.
Glide behavior is also preserved more reliably when VECTRA’s processing rate changes, preventing active glides from unexpectedly restarting or snapping during quality/oversampling changes.
New — Dedicated Glide Control
A compact GLIDE control is now available directly beside VECTRA’s keyboard.
This provides immediate access to Glide Time without requiring deeper navigation, with native VECTRA parameter readout and millisecond display.
New — NOTE DNA Glide
Glide Time can now be stored per note using NOTE DNA.
Individual MIDI notes can carry their own Glide Time Lock while the global Glide setting remains unchanged.
This means, for example, one note can glide slowly into its destination while another uses a short transition—or no meaningful glide at all—inside the same patch.
Glide Time is available through the NOTE DNA Full Panel and also integrates with NOTE DNA WRITE for direct per-note capture.

Fixes & refinements
- Fixed several Glide behaviors that could previously make the control appear ineffective or inconsistent.
- Improved Glide behavior across MIDI channels and note retriggering.
- Corrected Glide handling for ARP-generated notes.
- Preserved active Glide timing through processing-rate changes.
- Added robust per-note Glide behavior for NOTE DNA.
- Added direct manual access throughout the new Contextual Help cards.
- Refined Help Mode hotspot placement and visibility across VECTRA’s major pages.
VECTRA 2.2.9 is a free update for all VECTRA users.
