Main additions in VECTRA 1.3.3

  • AION Morphogenetic Field added: a new advanced DNA Parent for VectraForge that grows a coherent timbre world across the full wavetable, delivering scans that feel more alive, more continuous, and more musically unified.
  • Atlas visualizer introduced: a major new wavetable visualizer for deeper waveform and wavetable exploration.
  • New Mutation Panel: a dedicated mutation workspace with large Atlas / Orrery visualizer views for procedural wavetable mutation.
  • Atlas on the front synth panel: direct visual feedback is also available from the main sound-design surface.
  • New Maelstrom FX modules: Parallax, Fracture, and Prism expand the sound-shaping palette.
  • VECTRA Free entry point: new installs can generate a Free license automatically.
VectraForge

Forge expansion, new DNA design, and output improvements

  • New advanced DNA Parent: AION Morphogenetic Field introduces a flagship-style procedural generator for VectraForge, designed to build a coherent evolving timbre organism across the wavetable instead of isolated frame snapshots.
  • DNA parent refresh: Phase Scatter, Fractal FM, and Crystalline Formant have been reworked.
  • Clearer DNA Inspector: parent sliders now use more descriptive labels instead of generic names such as “Ratio A.”
  • Immediate-send workflow: “last edit sent” and “last puck position sent” make Forge interaction feel more direct and responsive.
  • Post-processing menu: new output finishing options allow legacy raw output or cleaner processed Forge results.
  • Cleaner Forge output: generated wavetables are more consistent, full, clear, and immediately usable.
Maelstrom FX

New modules and modular FX workflow

  • Parallax added: a new Maelstrom module for advanced spatial and field-shaping movement.
  • Fracture added: a new sound-shaping module focused on animated, high-impact textural transformation.
  • Prism added: a new module expanding Maelstrom’s spectral and tonal processing range.
  • True modular chain: modules can be exchanged, reordered, duplicated, and used in different positions, with the order affecting the sound.
  • Delay feedback restored: Delay repeats now respond correctly and produce the expected feedback behavior again.
UI / Workflow

Interaction and visual polish

  • Drag-and-drop modulation clipping fixed: modulation arcs are no longer visually clipped when assigning source orbs to modulatable knobs.
  • Keyboard expression macros: keyboard expression can now be freely assigned to any of the eight macros via right-click.
  • Keyboard expression reset fixed: macro assignment no longer resets after releasing the vector keyboard.
  • DAHDSR screen redesigned: the DAHDSR envelope screen is more stable and decoupled from the MSEG camera-based system.
  • Maelstrom visual uplift: module interaction is cleaner, more reactive, and more reliable.
Fixes

Musical behavior fixes

  • MSEG step-sequencer fixed: VECTRA now correctly recognizes step-sequencer mode and the clock works properly.
  • MSEG LFO with ARP fixed: MSEG LFO mode now works properly while ARP is enabled.
  • PrismCore initialization fixed: Mutate and DNA Flux work immediately without requiring the user to first flip between Warp and Mutate.
  • Maelstrom zoom / sidebar fixed: selecting another module while a module card is in zoom mode now behaves reliably and avoids broken visual states.
Licensing / Installers

Freemium and installer improvements

  • Free version activation: VECTRA can now be installed as a Free version and generate a Free license automatically.
  • License Center upgraded: the License Center is cleaner, shows the installed VECTRA version, and connects directly to the V2 license system.
  • Signed macOS PKG: the macOS build is signed and distributed as a self-installing package that installs content, AU component, VST3 plugin, and standalone app into the correct locations.
  • Windows installer maintained: the Windows installer installs plugin formats, standalone app, folders, and additional content into the expected Windows locations.
