Formant Filter unlocks a compact triple-formant filter model for vocal resonances, nasal motion, synthetic choir color, and vowel-like spectral focus inside Vectra.
What it is
Formant Filter adds a compact formant-response model to Vectra’s filter selector. It is designed for vowel-like resonance and vocal spectral color without the more extreme feedback and morph behavior of Vectra’s premium Vowel Filter.

Sound and workflow
The model uses a bank of band-pass formant regions that can be shifted and sharpened with the standard filter controls. It is effective for nasal basses, talking leads, synthetic choir tones, vocal pad coloration, and turning neutral oscillator or wavetable material into something more phonetic. Because it lives in Vectra’s dual-filter section, it can be paired with another filter in serial or parallel for focused vowel color followed by low-pass weight, high-pass thinning, or a second resonant shape.

How to activate
After purchase, open Vectra and go to License Center → Sync Vectra. The unlock is tied to the account used at checkout.
