VECTRA 2.1.9 — Visualizer Performance Update

VECTRA 2.1.9 focuses exclusively on visualizer performance, with a major optimization pass for the Reverb display.

Improved

  • Significantly reduced CPU usage in the Full Reverb visualizer
  • Optimized spectral history rendering while preserving the visual character and musical information of the display
  • Reduced unnecessary drawing and visual processing in Expanded mode
  • Improved rendering efficiency for historical traces and glow layers
  • Removed redundant visualizer update work
  • Reduced unnecessary calculations during continuous animation
  • Improved memory efficiency in the visualizer update path
  • Visualizer processing is now suspended more effectively when the Reverb display is not visible

Result

The Full Reverb view should now run substantially closer to the performance profile of Compact mode, with smoother UI behavior and a much lower graphics-processing overhead.

This update does not change the Reverb sound or DSP behavior — it is a focused performance improvement for the visual layer.

VECTRA 2.1.9 is recommended for all users, particularly those working with larger sessions or multiple VECTRA instances.
