VECTRA Standard & Deluxe
A flagship, motion-first software synthesizer for evolving sound design.
VECTRA is built for producers, composers, and sound designers who want more than static presets or a fixed synthesis lane. It is designed for artists who need sound to develop over time, with source creation, modulation, sequencing, filtering, and FX all working together inside one coherent instrument.
Both Standard and Deluxe are built on the same VECTRA foundation. Standard gives you the serious professional core. Deluxe opens the broadest flagship surface for users who want the widest authoring range, the deepest workflow, and the fullest reach across the VECTRA architecture.
Why VECTRA is different
VECTRA is not built around a static oscillator-and-preset workflow. It is built around interacting source, motion, and transformation systems inside one instrument.
Its identity comes from how authored source material, modulation, sequencing, filtering, and FX work together across the same workflow. Forge is one of the clearest expressions of that design: a wavetable authoring environment that lets you build, blend, shape, and reintroduce your own material directly into the live instrument.
That means VECTRA is not just generating sound and then decorating it afterward. Source behavior, warp, mutation, sequencing, filter shaping, and modular FX all participate in how the patch develops over time.
Inside VECTRA
VECTRA Forge

Forge is VECTRA’s 4-parent wavetable authoring environment. You select parent sources, move through XY blending and incubation logic, shape the result with Z-Morph and related controls, then save, export, load, or send that material straight back into the live oscillator path.
That makes Forge an authoring system, not a preset browser. It is where VECTRA becomes especially distinctive: a place to create source material that can keep feeding everyday patch design instead of relying only on fixed starting points.
In Standard, Forge is already part of the serious creative workflow. In Deluxe, the authoring surface opens further for users who want VECTRA at its widest range.
Motion built into the instrument
VECTRA is designed for sound that keeps developing instead of settling into a fixed loop. Movement is not treated as an afterthought. It is built into the way source material is shaped, routed, sequenced, and transformed.
Living Matrix is the routing architecture that keeps modulation central and visually clear. With up to 32 modulation routes, VECTRA can connect immediate performance gestures and long-form movement in the same patch without burying the workflow behind menus.
- 8 LFOs
- 4 DAHDSR envelopes
- 4 MSEGs
- Macro controls
- Animated routing across source, filter, motion, and FX behavior
Helios extends that motion into sequencing and performance. It is not just a basic arp. It is VECTRA’s step-based layer for rhythmic movement, probability, pitch behavior, and evolving pattern variation.
Together, these systems let pads keep unfolding, leads stay expressive, basses feel alive, and rhythmic material develop with intent rather than repetition.
Layered synthesis engine

Under the hood, VECTRA combines multiple source behaviors inside one playable architecture rather than forcing every patch into a single synthesis identity.
- Virtual analog behavior for punch, body, leads, bass fundamentals, and direct musical weight
- Advanced Wave behavior for wavetable playback, scanning, real-time warp, and fluid spectral movement
- Forge-authored source creation for custom material that feeds directly back into the live oscillator workflow
VECTRA’s voice design is built around Core A, Core B, and Delta Core, with dual filters, modulation, sequencing, and FX all interacting inside the same instrument.
Delta Core is one of the most distinctive parts of that design, but it is not just another oscillator in a flat list. Depending on the patch, it can contribute audible material, internal modulation pressure, or a more reactive excitation layer inside the voice path.
That architecture matters because VECTRA does not get its character from a single engine label. Its identity comes from interaction: analog-style weight, Advanced Wave movement, authored source material, routed motion, filter behavior, and FX shaping all influencing the result together.
The result is a hybrid software synthesizer that can move from focused basses and leads to animated pads, unstable textures, hybrid sequences, and highly personal sound-design material without feeling like separate instruments glued together.
Scanning, warp, mutation, and DNA Flux
VECTRA also distinguishes between different kinds of source movement. Scanning, warp, mutation, DNA Flux, and Forge are related, but they do different jobs inside the sound-design process.
Scanning moves through existing wavetable frames. Warp changes playback behavior in real time. Mutation generates new table material. DNA Flux introduces live mutated blending during playback. Forge lets you author the source itself before it returns to the live oscillator workflow.
Dual-filter shaping
VECTRA’s dual filters are not just a finishing checkbox. They act as an active shaping stage that can tighten, destabilize, push, or refine the sound depending on the role of the patch.
That makes the filter stage part of the instrument’s identity rather than a simple cleanup step after the source has already been decided.
Maelstrom modular FX

VECTRA Maelstrom FX Rack
Maelstrom is a modular FX architecture, not a generic end-of-chain strip. It extends the instrument’s sound-design logic into spatial, tonal, and rhythmic processing, so the effects stage can participate in the identity of the patch.
Core processors such as distortion, EQ, delay, reverb, chorus, and phaser cover essential shaping, while modules such as Parallax, Fracture, and Prism push further into stereo design, glitch behavior, and spectral transformation.

PARALLAX Stereo Imager
In practice, Maelstrom lets you build finish, movement, and character inside the instrument rather than treating FX as something added after the sound is already decided.
Choose your edition
VECTRA Standard
Standard is the serious professional core edition of VECTRA. It gives you the layered synthesis architecture, deep modulation, dual-filter shaping, Helios motion design, Maelstrom processing, and meaningful access to Forge-based source creation in a version built for real day-to-day production work.
It is the core paid VECTRA instrument for users who want substantial creative depth and a serious day-to-day production workflow from the start.
VECTRA Deluxe
Deluxe is the full flagship edition. It opens the broadest VECTRA range for users who want the widest authoring surface, the deepest workflow, and the fullest reach across the instrument’s sound-design architecture.
Both editions are built on the same VECTRA foundation. Standard gives you the serious core instrument. Deluxe widens that instrument into its most expansive flagship form.
Who VECTRA is for
VECTRA is built for artists who want a deeper relationship with sound and who need an instrument that can develop across time rather than deliver a single static hit.
- Electronic producers who want motion, tension, stereo detail, evolving rhythmic behavior, and patches with real internal energy
- Composers who need hybrid timbres, atmosphere, impact, and transformation without being locked into a cinematic cliché
- Sound designers who want to author source material, shape behavior, and build identity from the inside out
- Artists working across psytrance, bass, glitch, experimental, and adjacent styles who need range without being boxed into a single genre story
Why users choose VECTRA
VECTRA is built for artists who need sound to keep developing across a phrase, a scene, or a full arrangement. It brings source creation, mutation, modulation, sequencing, dual-filter shaping, and modular FX into one coherent instrument, so movement and identity can be designed from the inside out.
Choose Standard if you want the serious professional core: substantial creative depth, a strong working surface, and a real VECTRA workflow from the start.
Choose Deluxe if you want the full flagship version: the broadest VECTRA surface for deeper authoring, wider exploration, and the fullest reach across the instrument.
If your work depends on sound that can move, evolve, and keep revealing detail over time, VECTRA is built for that way of working.
