VECTRA 2.2.6 — Introducing NOTE DNA
NOTE DNA
- Create a different sound state for individual notes while keeping the original preset as the foundation.
- Quick Write makes authoring immediate: activate NOTE DNA, play or select a note, and adjust VECTRA parameters.
- A dedicated NOTE DNA panel gives you a complete overview of the notes and parameter changes stored in the preset.
- Store up to 16 parameter Locks per note.
- Use Relative or Absolute Locks depending on whether a note should modify the parent sound or recall a specific value.
- NOTE DNA works across VECTRA’s synthesis engine, opening up everything from subtle note-to-note variation to radically different timbres across the keyboard.
- NOTE DNA data is stored with the preset and recalled automatically.
Included with Deluxe — or available separately

Free and Standard users can also purchase NOTE DNA as a standalone VECTRA add-on without upgrading their VECTRA edition.

- Improved Sample Engine state consistency when reopening or changing contexts.
Additional improvements
- Various NOTE DNA workflow and interface refinements.
- General stability and compatibility improvements.
