Current build: VECTRA 2.0.2 for Windows and macOS
VECTRA began with a question: what if a synthesizer did more than reproduce source material—what if it could grow that material itself?
That question has become a connected sound-design system built around generation, transformation and performance. VECTRA can create original 256-frame wavetables, turn them into playable sounds through a hybrid synthesis engine, and represent an entire preset as a visual structure you can explore and perform.
VECTRA 2.0 is the clearest expression of that idea so far. The latest 2.0.2 build is now available, and VECTRA will officially leave Early Access on 1 September 2026.
Here are five reasons to update now—or discover VECTRA for the first time.

1. Forge grows new wavetable source material inside VECTRA

Most wavetable synthesizers begin with a table you select or import. VECTRA Forge can create the source material inside the instrument.
Choose four procedural DNA parents, crossbreed them through the Incubator, mutate related variations, shape the result in the DNA Inspector, define its Z Domain and generate a complete 256-frame wavetable. The result can be sent directly into either live oscillator—or both—without leaving VECTRA.
You are no longer limited to choosing a wavetable and processing it. You can grow a family of related source material, refine it and immediately turn it into a playable patch.
2. Genome turns a synthesizer patch into a world you can perform

Deep synthesizers can become difficult to understand once dozens of parameters and modulation paths begin interacting. VECTRA Genome approaches that complexity visually.
In Performance Mode, a preset becomes a three-dimensional helix. Different regions represent different parts of the patch, while eight macros provide a focused performance layer. You can navigate the structure, isolate regions and watch the system react as the sound changes.
This is not simply an animation placed behind a synthesizer. It is a new way of seeing and performing the structure of the patch itself.
3. The wavetable is only the beginning

VECTRA is not a single-feature Forge instrument. Its two main oscillators can work with virtual analog synthesis, wavetables, Forge material and sample playback. Delta Core adds another internal source for cross-modulation, FM, feedback, synchronization and texture.
From there, the patch can move through extensive modulation, Helios sequencing, dual filters, macros and the Maelstrom modular effects system.
The important part is not the length of the feature list. These systems are designed to remain connected inside one playable instrument, allowing sounds to move from controlled and tonal to unstable, animated and unfamiliar without losing their musical identity.
4. VECTRA now has a much stronger product foundation

The instrument surrounding the synthesis engine has matured substantially.
VECTRA now operates as one product family across Free, Standard and Deluxe. The License Center brings account status, ownership and diagnostics into one place. Community preset sharing, the current shop system and the unified installer make it easier to enter the VECTRA ecosystem and keep the instrument current.
VECTRA 2.0.2 is the recommended build for both Windows and macOS.
Important step for users of the old licensing system
After installing VECTRA 2.0.2, open Main Menu → License Center, sign in with your AudioNerdz account, and select Refresh to sync your current V2 license.
Please complete this step even if your previous VECTRA installation is already locally unlocked. Your existing product entitlement does not change; the sign-in and refresh step connects the installation to the current licensing system.
5. Early Access ends on 1 September

VECTRA officially leaves Early Access on 1 September 2026.
Existing customer entitlements will not change when Early Access ends. However, the regular price of VECTRA Deluxe will increase from €149 to €199 on 1 September.
New customers can use coupon code VECTRA10 during checkout.
This milestone does not mean development stops. It means VECTRA’s identity is established: procedural source creation, hybrid synthesis, connected transformation and visual performance are no longer isolated experiments. They now form one coherent instrument.

VECTRA is not trying to make sound design smaller. It is trying to make deeper synthesis more explorable, visual and alive.
