VECTRA 2.2.8 is focused on two areas: a major expansion of NOTE DNA, and a clearer way to understand premium features when you encounter them inside VECTRA.

NOTE DNA — expanded to 164 parameters

NOTE DNA now reaches significantly deeper into VECTRA. The eligible parameter surface has grown from 115 to 164 parameters, while the core workflow remains unchanged: each MIDI note can store up to 16 Locks, using either Relative or Absolute behavior.

• 49 additional NOTE DNA targets are now available.
• Added per-note control for Unison Voices and Unison Phase Randomization on both oscillators.
• Added Sample Root Note and Grain Seed for both oscillator sample domains.
• Added Glide Time.
• Added all 32 modulation-route depth controls.
• Added Macro 1–8.

Quick Write reaches more of the synth

Quick Write can now capture NOTE DNA changes directly from more production controls. Supported additions include:

• Macro 1–8
• Modulation Route Depth 1–32
• Unison Voices
• Grain Seed
• Sample Root Note

Glide Time and Unison Phase Randomization are available from the Full NOTE DNA panel.

Full Panel organization

The NOTE DNA target browser now includes dedicated MOD / ROUTING and MACROS sections, making the larger 164-parameter surface easier to navigate.

Sample Root integration

Fixed the Sample Root control path so normal Sample Root editing and NOTE DNA Quick Write capture work correctly.

Richer feature unlock callouts

Locked premium features now present themselves more clearly inside VECTRA. Instead of relying on a generic lock message, supported features can now show a dedicated contextual callout with:

• a clear feature name and short description;
• the main musical or workflow benefits;
• a focused unlock action;
• improved sizing and placement inside the VECTRA interface.

This is a presentation and discovery improvement. Your existing licenses, ownership and entitlements are unchanged.

NOTE DNA availability

VECTRA Deluxe includes NOTE DNA. VECTRA Free and Standard users can unlock NOTE DNA separately for €49.99. There is no separate installer — NOTE DNA is built directly into VECTRA.
