New features, the VECTRA Creator Program, development updates — and an open conversation about what comes next.
VECTRA has been moving fast.
Over the last several weeks, we have continued expanding the instrument with new systems, workflow improvements, sound-design capabilities and a growing number of ideas for where the platform can go next.
And while a large amount of that work happens behind the scenes, we also want VECTRA development to remain connected to the people actually using it.
That is why we are hosting a spontaneous VECTRA Community Meeting tomorrow, September 18th at 20:00 CEST on the Audionerdz Discord.
What we’ll be talking about
This will not be a formal presentation.
Instead, it will be an open community meeting where we can talk about the current state of VECTRA, show and discuss recent additions, answer questions and hear directly from users.
A major topic will naturally be the continued development of VECTRA itself.
The instrument has evolved considerably, with systems such as GENESIS, FILTER CORE, ARP CORE, GRAINFIELD and the broader VECTRA modulation and synthesis architecture continuing to expand what the instrument can do.
But adding features is only part of the process.
How those features feel to use, how they fit together, where unnecessary complexity can be removed, and which ideas deserve to become part of VECTRA are equally important questions.
Community feedback plays an important role in that process.
The VECTRA Creator Program
We will also talk about the newly introduced VECTRA Creator Program.
The Creator Program opens VECTRA to external sound designers who want to create professional preset collections for the instrument and release them through Audionerdz.
We want VECTRA to become more than a synthesizer with a fixed factory library.
The longer-term goal is to build an ecosystem where talented producers and sound designers can bring their own musical identity into the instrument — while users gain access to professionally curated sounds from creators working across different genres and production styles.
If you are interested in becoming a VECTRA sound designer, this meeting is also a good opportunity to ask questions about the program directly.
An open development conversation
One of the benefits of building an independent instrument is that communication between the people developing it and the people using it can remain direct.
If something feels wrong, we want to hear it.
If there is a workflow that could be better, we want to discuss it.
And if somebody has an unusual idea that could genuinely make VECTRA more interesting, we want there to be a place for that conversation.
The community meetings are designed to provide exactly that.
You do not need technical knowledge to participate.
You do not need to be a preset designer.
And you do not need to prepare anything.
